lol well spoke too soon, myself and several others I know in the 9th orientation just got a call saying it was cancelled and we'd recieve an email on an Indoc date within the coming weeks

I'm curious for that orientation group if that is for everyone or the least senior and they are trying to fit in the skywest guys who came to envoy en masse

that was my curiousity too, but sounds like it hit everyone from cadet to off the street FO. I didnt know any prior 121 guys in that orientation but had lines on the others

My friend in the May orientation got the call that it was pushed to June 20

I was in the May 9th class and just got the call that it was canceled. No further date given, but I wonder if this is just a cancellation of orientation and now we're just waiting to start Indoc? That we Envoy saves money on paying pilots while they sit at home doing nothing.

They're apparently doing away with orientation all together. They don't see the need to pay people to sit home anymore. Hiring is still full steam ahead, and the Indoc dates are still unaffected. If anything, they might start adding Indoc dates.

Now my only fear is that they will make the Indoc dates a priority to 121 time pilots and Cadets. It's a business at the end of the day, but a lot of people could be in for some delays if that is the case.

I heard Cadets from the 5/9 orientation were given 5/20 Indoc over the phone.

I was supposed to be in the 9th class as well but haven't heard anything. I was a little late submitting my paperwork though.

Nothing here either. Anyone else been assigned an indoc date beyond the 5/20 noted in a prior post?

Have you guys gotten plane tickets for orientation? Surprising that they would only call a few of us to let us know it was moved and not all of us, considering it was supposed to be 6 days from now.

Also, is the cadet start date 5/20 or 6/20? I've heard different things.

I never got travel arrangements, so I was suspecting something might be up. 6/20 wouldn’t make sense since, in theory, indocs are every-other Monday. 5/20, 6/3, 6/17. 5/20 was first indoc with space left after the 4/11 orientation folks were placed into classes.
