Does anybody know if we're supposed to get any study materials before the first day? I thought we were, but I haven't received anything yet.

Instructors are considered management. You are considered FNG.

I am aware of the difference. FNG can still dress business casual, it’s not that difficult.

I was referring to jeans for a FNG. But you can do whatever floats your boat.

Have an interview coming up, does anyone have recent information on orientation times? Sounds like indoc/class dates and order of placement is a complete unknown. What I've heard recently via word of mouth was "4-6 weeks" and "2-3 months".

This sounds about right! Good luck on your interview. Be sure to use aviation interviews.

Went great! They told us that apparently there's a crackdown on compliance with airman documents, specifically that your medical, FCC, etc. must all have the same middle name in the same format (i.e. if your passport has your full middle name your FCC cannot have just the middle initial). Anyone heard of this?

That sounds like the kind of thing that some foreign governments might care about if you get ramp checked out of the country.
