I got a rough estimate of around the $9,000 mark for training. I can't remember where exactly I saw it but it was somewhere in ADP I think.

That’s way too high for net. That’s even above what gross would be.

We're getting 64 hours per month at a rate of 96 per hour (gross pay).

I know - thus $9,000 a month is way too high.

If you’re trying to estimate for “all” of training that’s impossible. Everyone has different training footprints/lengths.

Do you get per diem for each day at training in DFW Including the days off?

Yes. Every day gets 16 hours.

Kinda curious if anyone has any input, but what's the word around Envoy about the possible extension of the bonus pay? As I know it, FO pay is slated to drop back to around the $68/hr mark come end of 2026 (CA to drop as well). I know there's time until then, but I don't see why American would extend it given the pilot market right now. Just curious what others have been hearing.

Same question in the PSA thread. It will go down when they are pretty sure they can get away with it without causing a mass exodus. The main variable for that is industry hiring and it's very hard to predict what it is going to look like at the end of this year, let alone next.

Don't count on big money lasting forever. Get the best experience you can as fast as you can and keep working towards career destinations. Flow is a decent backup plan for that goal but should never be primary.

The union will protect its members and never let that happen.

$100k/yr is no longer "big money"

And how is that? Didn’t the pay raise agreement come with the stipulation that it can be snapped back to a lower rate if management desired? Which became 2026 when they offered to extend it in 2024.
