They still haven't talked openly if they have placed jets or not. This leads me to conclude they haven't, otherwise they'd be talking about the various ways that plays out.

There are only two reasons to not announce that they've placed the jets elsewhere. I'm sure many have already theorized this.

One is to stave off massive attrition; the second is they haven't been able to place them at the costs they want.

If they did place them, they won't announce it until they have to. They don't want massive attrition. The one thing they did discuss, was Envoy attrition. They told their underlings to fix it.

Parker: "hey pedro, fix your attrition"
Pedro: "How sir? there's nothing we can offer"
Parker: "Figure it out, see ya!"

The attrition will not stop, even if they do all of that outlined above. They need to worry about getting people in the damn door. Without anyone coming in on the bottom, they are completely screwed.

Agree, the only way I can see them pulling it off is...

Bring the airplanes here, do a better flow that cover everybody, and stop the BS. But hey, egos are bigger that to do the right thing.

I can see a THIRD reason for not announcing where the 175s are going; Maybe they wanna give the Envoy pilot group a little more time to worry about their jobs and soften up before coming back to the table with a third contract offer.

Time is not on their side with your argument. First delivery is March 2015, 8 months from now. If they let us blow in the wind for another 4 months it will be self defeating. That leaves 4 months to train check airmen, initial cadre and pilots to get the plane online. Not enough time. Our MEC knows that time is not on the company's side and our pilots know this. The longer they wait the worse it gets for them time wise if they intend to come back to us.

The point is if you haven't heard soon, or if they haven't started negotiating soon; then they DID place the planes, and are avoiding telling you all so you don't all leave.

That's pretty much how it went. They made a decision and didn't look back. Not getting boged down in the minutia; that's why they pay these other guys.

So if we haven't heard anything soon, the plan A you spoke of is no longer the plan and we've moved on to something different?

Plan A was/is a long term plan. They deal in big picture stuff. The specific details aren't as important to them (meaning they won't spend a great deal of time on it, they'll make a decision and move on).

Example; they place the planes with PDT and PSA, and later consolidate.

For them, the end result is still the same. Planes at Envoy.

Consolidate with what? Envoy will 200 fleet airline with no pilots by then. Many pilots are bailing (obviously) and many more will continue to do so given their first opportunity. It'll be interesting (read; funny) to see how they "combat" attrition. Just sit back and watch the sh!t show. :D
