It is only awful for those of us on property. For new hires hired through the program they are guaranteed a slot at Delta even if the program is terminated. The toughest requirement is the 2 years as a Captain because of the morbid stagnation at our carrier. The other stuff isn't so tough. Keep your nose clean and study for checking events and they'll be fine. All those guys talking about busting these newbies out of spite are just thumping their chest. It'll never happen. I can't think of a flow outside of Compass that has actually been a true flow with no restrictions. The Compass flow was perfect timing. If we were going the other way all those guys would be flushed out the bottom.
Are they still holding your 824 or are guys moving on? I hope things turn around for you guys especially since you seem to be leading the charge of reform for the rest of us.

That is not accurate. Those hired after 10/2011 only have a preferential interview.

the 824 has been flowing since late last year. About 20 guys per month flow over to AA.
