The real interesting thing on that award was the most jr award was in the 2500s. That's a lot different from a few years ago, we're significantly smaller than when I was hired.

You can take out another 70-80 training center guys, 20-30 management pilots and 150-200 leave of absence guys. That 2500 number is more like 2100-2200 line pilots. Last official number I saw was 2133 line guys.

I resemble that most junior award - like a handful from the bottom:eek:

Only minor Envoy discussion this past week.

They still haven't talked openly if they have placed jets or not. This leads me to conclude they haven't, otherwise they'd be talking about the various ways that plays out.

There are only two reasons to not announce that they've placed the jets elsewhere. I'm sure many have already theorized this.

One is to stave off massive attrition; the second is they haven't been able to place them at the costs they want.

If they did place them, they won't announce it until they have to. They don't want massive attrition. The one thing they did discuss, was Envoy attrition. They told their underlings to fix it.

I'm curious as to what they expect management at Envoy to do about the attrition. I'm fairly certain all measures which could attract and retain talent will have to come from AAG (pay raise, flow, aircraft, etc).

Yes how do they fix attrition without aag making it happen. Aag controls and runs the envoy show. Envoy met are just buffers.

Stop violating our contract, make us whole for past contract violations and grievances we have won, get rid of Glass, stop the threats and treat us with respect. I suspect we will continue to lose 40-50 a month until they decide to move on the things I outlined above. When they announce who is getting the 175's attrition will worsen and when PBS gets voted down and the company comes at us for more concessions($8.6 million worth) attrition will spike again and applications will fall. They are in a tough spot...but they alone have the power to change it all.
