I have been through 2 long terms in the last year here, both had new hires and everyone made it through. 2 in my group busted stupid stuff initially, then got through on the second try.

My crashpad is loaded with a new group of new hires every few weeks.. nobody has said anything about anyone not making it through lately. A person or 2 may bust a type ride in just about every class but its always been that way and it seems they all make it through on the second try. I can say in my experience over 4 long terms training events at Eagle, 3 type ratings here and a bunch of PC's.. that everyone that you think would pass on the first attempt generally does, and the "certain" guys you think may not pass so easily... Well they generally don't on the first try. People that bust their butt, work well with others and know their stuff, pretty much always make it through unscathed every time.
