Agree. Not sure where people come up with this bullshyt.

I have been through 2 long terms in the last year here, both had new hires and everyone made it through. 2 in my group busted stupid stuff initially, then got through on the second try.

My crashpad is loaded with a new group of new hires every few weeks.. nobody has said anything about anyone not making it through lately. A person or 2 may bust a type ride in just about every class but its always been that way and it seems they all make it through on the second try. I can say in my experience over 4 long term training events at Eagle, 3 type ratings here and a bunch of PC's.. that everyone that you think would pass on the first attempt generally does, and the "certain" guys you think may not pass so easily... Well they generally don't on the first try. People that bust their butt, work well with others and know their stuff, pretty much always make it through unscathed every time.

With 2-5 new hires a class I seriously doubt your crash pad is "loaded" with them.

Well it is.. Try coming to NY, the junior base.. 4-6 guys twice a month filtering in adds up over the year.. Pretty much every new hire comes through here.. And I'm a RSV CA so I fly with newer junior FO's just about every day. I do hear whats going on in the training center.

Guess there must be a new "plan".

It seems Ryan may be putting another urban legend - only 2-5 newhires per class - to rest. I'm guessing it's not the 20-30 Envoy would like, but I'm also guessing it's more than 2-5. 7-10 maybe?
