Goodluck!

They left when it was their turn to flow, just like any of the rest of us would have done in their position. The problem is a corporation and leadership that refuses to treat us like human beings that are supposed to be on the same team. Instead, they treat us as cost units that are the enemy. Employees could be AAG's greatest asset, but they have no understanding of that concept. That certainly isn't the fault of the group of union volunteers you listed, nor Team Tony before them. Standing up for yourself is never the wrong thing to do.

They were the cheerleaders-propaganda NO voters with their philosophical "Company bluffing- No one can staff it bs".

In the end, they had nothing to lose because as you said, they left soon after the turd hit the fan.

GoodLuck!

Sad, but true. If you were a yes voter, you were labeled as an outcast.

WaterRooster 05-02-2015 07:59 AM

I appreciate the honesty. Too much on here you get all the negative with a "how I am getting screwed" twist. Gotta take all of that and then figure out the facts before you can figure out what the real deal is. Appreciate it!

I'll say the same thing I've already said 50 times without a single substantive response. I put a TON in writing, cite a single instance of me doing anything you accuse me of. If you can't (and you cant) that makes you a liar. And a douche.

My apologies to the Massengil corporation for comparing you to their products.

And one of the American pilots speaks up. I could point out plenty of times you have called people out for being yes voters. Don't act like you are holier than thou you sad little fat man.

RJ Pilot is right about one thing and it is irrefutable: you had nothing to lose by being a no cheerleader and everything to gain by looking good to your future AA Captains.

What is the color of the sky on your planet? Look good to future AA captains?? LOL.

Well gee whiz Internet tough guy. Who are you on the lounge? And since it is no secret who I am, of course my offer to point out where I was a no cheerleader extends to those posts as well. You still come up empty, tho. Are you GF? He likes to attack me in the ssame.baseless way there. Oh and I did have plenty to lose. I have integrity (ask GF to post the definition of that word for you) and many many friends at eagle who I wouldn't screw over. Your argument that I "had nothing to lose" is juvenile and puts you in like company.

Who is GF?

I stopped posting on the lounge years ago because of all the short fat guys with a chip on their shoulder.

Of course you had nothing to lose.

If you really cared about your "friends" at Eagle, you would have supported a future for them, rather than being a sacrificial lamb for the "greater good". A lot of good that is doing for your "friends" or the industry today.

Skyvector 05-02-2015 11:54 AM

Hey Gardner,

Why don't you go stuff another bacon wrapped onion ring in your mouth and shut the hell up.

Maybe you hang around your poker pals a little too much, but I have news for you: Nobody at Envoy likes you.

You are a complete douche online who likes to act like a tough guy and in real life you are a sad, meek, little fat man.

As others have mentioned you were one of the ones direct responsible for the damaging NO vote last year. And now you continue to defend it by launching vicious attacks on people online while walking in the shadows of terminals in real life.

And.....we should have voted no again in December. Instead, we caved like a bunch of pansies. The only turd is envoy. Thanks John for standing up for this pathetic work group and demanding better-not worse.

Hey skyvector, whoever you are,

Project much? I'm sad and meek in real life? No one at eagle likes me? Clearly you don't know me. I could lose a few pounds, and after I did, you and your fellow keyboard warriors would still be a bunch of hiding, whining, swiveling little douchebags.

I launch vicious attacks? So you can't read either. I am responsible for 0% of the no vote. Period. Blame all you like my conscious is clear.

Walk in the shadows? I showed up at a Miami base visit of Sprague's in AA uniform as I was just commuting in. Said hi to many friends. Went toe to toe with one of you blamers. The same guy hiding behind Out in left field on the lounge.

You don't know me. Or you are just stupid. Or both, I don't know because you couldn't find the huevos to tell me who you are if you needed to. That goes for all your pals.

FeedTheYote 05-02-2015 04:37 PM

If I had a nickel for every time Johnny G stopped crappy info from going into an official communication, I'd be rich. The same goes for every time he lobbied to get better info, clearer info, and just plain more comprehensive info into his comms.

If you think you can do better, my advice is to try. You'll be writing comms that have to satisfy every diverse opinion on the MEC, plus get the approval of ALPA legal (local and national), plus make sure the message is clear to the average line pilot (not too long, not too brief, but still interesting and engaging), plus make sure the comm fits within a larger strategy which, again, is vehemently disagreed upon by members of the MEC, plus make sure the torrential tide of constantly changing information is always accurately portrayed in what you write, plus make sure your emails are getting delivered to as many pilots as possible, plus make sure that...

...the list goes on and on. Lighten up. Johnny G was a good comm guy.

So which is it? I walk in the shadows or don't i? What am I rubbing in? Almost 18 years of stagnation in my industry followed by flow? You're a super cool GV "captain" now, why are you still bitter?

I didn't make them but they were delicious. Maybe I will try tonight since I'm sitting in the crash pad on short call not getting called.

I'll enjoy them, and you'll still be a whining, crying, lying, jealous little girl who flies crappy trips in a GV as a "captain" for ungrateful people who mostly treat you like a doorman. If you are really lucky, one day you'll be slinging my gear at AA.

Thanks yote- appreciate that too.

As a comm rep, you sent out fairly unbiased and well written communiques in a timely manner. That was appreciated and certainly better than the dirtnap kiddo.

After leaving that office, it seemed like you wanted to just "throw-up" all the personal thoughts you so diligently held in during your tenure. It really invalidated a lot. From your Lounge posts, it seemed obvious to me you were a solid no voter, believed that no matter what we should die on the sword, that the company would have to make a deal with us, etc...which is generally fine - we are all entitled to our opinions. However, touting a hard line that has no consequences for you personally definitely is not well received by those who are living with the consequences that have, and will, come.
Rather than just share your opinions, you were aggressive and often engaged people with opposing viewpoints in a very hostile nature.
Yes, I could go to the lounge and dig up specific examples but this what I saw overall, and I am far too lazy to actually put that kind of effort in(EL has
No search function since Gavin ruined it for all of us).

Thanks for the reply. No question I engaged people on the lounge and it got hostile at times. way more often than not it was me defending myself against people making false accusations. There were people who behind the scenes in this whole mess were working against the good of the pilots and trying to undermine what we were doing for their own personal agendas. At times that really ****ed me off. So when I see them trying to rewrite history or feeding misinformation to people like Fontes to post on the lounge, yeah I engage them too. Till the day I started basic indoc at AA I wasn't holding my breath about flow and it wouldn't be right to assume I separated myself completely from eagle even after I left. It simply isn't right to say I have and had no skin in this game. It is just an easy way to try to tell me to shut up.

I would say don't assume from the lounge posting that I am a screaming no voter. I see how that conclusion could be reached, but really it has been more about defending against finger pointers. My single vote was no, each time as I personally believed it was wrong for the company to be demanding concessions from us at a time of record profits and that reneging on AMRs promise of aircraft was simply wrong. Having the inside perspective I have had, I am also entirely convinced that nothing we could have done, or did do, changed of would have changed anything the gang of 6 was going to do. Their plan was and is their plan. The pilots are along for the ride.

FeedTheYote 05-03-2015 09:11 AM

PC, you do raise an interesting point. On one hand, maybe pilots should be smart enough to consider the source of what they read online. On the other hand, maybe union folks ought to be held to a higher standard, even in what they post from personal accounts.

My two cents is that reps are absolutely entitled to posting their opinions online, especially when everyone knows their handle. Line pilots ought to be responsible for considering the validity of such opinions. I's also say that perhaps while a rep is /in office/ and actually volunteering, public posting ought not be so volatile.

But once that person is done serving or has moved on from the company, who cares? Is posting online substantially different than talking with pilots in a crew room? (Assuming that person isn't using a clandestine handle that no one knows about while they attempt to sway pilot opinion while acting like some sort of oracle... cough cough...)

FFT, I guess.

It can't be any worse than commuting to reserve living with 10 dirty pilots in a crammed crash pad. Ahh but you are living the dream aren't you? Face it, without the flow you would still be at envoy enjoying the turd you and the rest of the baboons at the MEC made.

Im really lucky in the aspect that I was offered my job and left just like you so I won't have the privilege nor desire to swing the gear for you at a McDonalds airlines like AAG has become.

So go to "La Carreta " and stuff yourself with some pork and beans. That should be better than those nasty bacon wrap onion rings.

So true. Neither John nor RJ (whoever he is) work for envoy anymore. Since John is the only one whose identity is known, I think I can speak for all of us when I say John, shut the f up. RJ...you're just an all around idiot. If you're so happy with your GV captain job (don't believe that for a second) why are you here?

His actual status is PW, paid, but withheld from service. But RJ Pilot knew that.

All indications point toward company shenanigans. We'll see.
