Just remember, you can't upgrade until there are enough FO's hired behind you. At this point, with attrition of both Captains and FO's, it will take years for Envoy to hire enough FO's to allow a new hire to upgrade.

So, 5-6 years is really the minimum upgrade time based on the number of new hires.

I strongly disagree. New hire numbers have steadily increased.

Not really. The number of available pilots is decreasing and the other airlines are increasing compensation. The WO'd are seriously lacking.

"daOldMan" does NOT work for Envoy, hasn't even ever pretended he does. Yet he always incorrectly answers questions pertaining to Envoy. Interesting.

The other two WO'd might be lacking, but Envoy seems to be hiring. We had 42 new hires last month. 16 so far in September. Just made aware it's actually 17 for the day. An upgrade may not happen in two years but 3 is completely possible at this point. New hires will go to wherever the quickest movement is... If things keep moving like this, I will see an upgrade in the next two years and that will be 3 years for me. I'm completely okay with that as it would be the same as Skywest, RAH, etc.

Envoy did not hire that many last month. The email had misleading numbers as I recall

We had 3 classes in the month so the numbers are inflated but we did have 42. If we get 15+ a class envoy should be in a fine position.
