Yea, I'm trying to stay here. If I got some NYC based I'd move back to RIC. Shorter commute and most of my family is there at the moment.

You'll do fine at envoy if you want to stay in DFW. Commuting adds a whole other level of stress to the job. Live in base and drive home when your done and forget about work until your next sequence. Worrying about weather and flight loads and all that isnt worth it if you have an option to live in base.

You might want to add smutter to the list as well. He is really good about mixing facts with lies. Anyone who says Envoy is shrinking [B]going forward[B] is crazy. We hired 70 pilots in December. Classes are filling up fast. But he is absolutely right that schedules are bad. That's why I love reserve. I get late starts early finishes. 90-110 credit. 14-15 days at home. Less than 10 overnights per month. Every now and then we get hit with a crazy month that makes me want to bid a line but then I get months like November and December where I hardly work at all.

The biggest advice is dont commute. All the other stuff on here is nothing compared to commuting.

Crj staying until 2018 at least and there will be no displacements.

Misleading, it starts to leave in April(Ric says) he hopes more then 1 a month(union/company meeting, a few weeks ago). So while we may have some on property, they're leaving starting in April 2017.

But if they do continue to leave a 1 per month there might only need to be a small displacement bid at the end.

Doesn't matter how many we're hiring, attrition, flow, upgrades is why we're hiring. crjs going, losing emj, yes. Where do you think AA will get the option to add more scope, there's no room for more large rjs. What do we have 35ish crj, gone, emjs slowly to PDT, 40 175 for us. That's a shrinking airline

OK, I said in the next post probably no displacements, just backwards movement for new hires on the 175

This is wrong. I have over a decade at Envoy. I have three weeks of vacation, am not close to getting 4, and when I go to AA in 2018 I will lose the extra vacation just like any other AA new hire. Also, I do keep my apps updated.

90-110 credit on reserve??? Obviously that involves a lot of working on your off days. So then how do you get 14-15 days at home? Do you really not get called 4-5 days out of the month? I have had 1-2 days not called total since the summer. Looking over the reserve list I would say your experience is not the norm.
