The email doesn't have the information but the company website has disp/NEB and prof listed.

NEB=Not Enough Bids for people that don't know.

Most Junior Captain hired September 25th, 2017! Unofficial street Captains if you have the 121 time...

I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

Can someone please definitively explain backfill? It looks like only 4 DCE bid out of to a different position. There were I think 9 backfill via bidding and displacement.

To be fair, bingo fuel is a CA calculation unless you were just messing with him because he wanted to upgrade.

That is BS. Both pilots need to know how to do it, so one can back up the other. Just like the manual weight and balance/performance that people are clueless on these days. Surprisingly a lot of the newer CA's still can't do it correctly either. The problem now is these people are upgrading virtually instantly and have NO clue what they are doing yet here and will be also be paired up with another person that has no clue as an FO so there is NOBODY to catch the mistakes anymore.

It is a LOT more than just bingo fuel knowledge they are lacking on. Bingo fuel is just the tip of the iceberg. Spend about 5 minutes in the airplane with many of these newer guys and it is obvious there is a serious safety problem brewing with these extremely quick upgrades...

How did FOs get displaced to OFL?????

Pntbllr233 10-12-2017 09:08 AM

They displaced a few of the bottom guys from DFL to OFL. Shouldn't someone well senior to them who had a proffer to displace to OFL be awarded before them?

And the MOST junior guy would not have been DFL. It would have been a 145 or CRJ guy.

I would agree and the contract supports that. You proffer to take the displacement of a more junior pilot.
