Color Vision Waiver
#11
As I stated in my OP, I only have my PPL so to consider any regional at this point is moot. I simply wanted some insight on what regionals think of waivers from guys that actually work there. Thanks for the guys that added productive information. To the others, one day you'll grow up.
I have a different waiver on my medical and it didn't even come up in my cpp/ual interview.
Don't worry about it you can't change it and you don't want blood pressure issues...or balding issues. Just keep studying and you'll be at an airline real soon.

Good luck with the medical issue.

SODA
I have a slight color issue so I had to get a SODA and once you get it, it's good for life. Never had a problem with it anywhere I applied.
Prior to starting my training and ratings (currently PPL) for an airline career, would any one know off hand if having a color vision waiver or OVCT test (demonstrated wavier for 1st class med) will be an issue for Expressjet or the majors at that fact? I remember a time when CAL wouldn't even look at you if you had a SODA.

That's right! We should encourage all potential new hires to continue their interview walk over to all the other bottom feeders so they can continue to take our flying. Then, we can point at them walking thru term C in EWR (where we used to proudly represent as ALL of COEX) and say "you took my job!" Burn it down all Republic style, yeah...
