Default Any 2018 Interview Tips ?

I was wondering if anyone has interviewed recently?
Any info on the agenda, topics, etc?

There is about to be a predictable group of jaded posters that will say the same old tired stuff....”have a pulse”....”be able to fog a mirror”....”why would you come here?”......blah blah blah. Feel free to ignore those types.

I will assume you did your homework and have your own reasons for coming here, so I wish you well and will give you the only advice I can give. It’s been many years since I interviewed here, but I got the job. Know your aviation stuff, which is expected. More importantly, be positive and personable and show you actually want the job.....and I’m sure you will get it. I hope to see you here.

Interview tips?

Yeah. Don't. Call them and cancel. Do yourself the favor.

Know your way around a Jeppesen chart and be prepared to brief an approach. Review the systems of the aircraft you're currently flying as well, as you'll probably be asked about it. Otherwise, I'd suspect it's mostly CRM or situational decision-making type questions.

I wouldn't expect too many curve balls. Dress to look the part, have a good demeanor, and you should be fine.

The best way to describe a regional interview - Two fingers will be placed over your wrist. Slight pressure will be applied to your radial artery which is located towards the thumb side of the wrist. Once a pulse is confirmed you will be told that you're hired. Good luck!!

You forgot, for the more stringent regionals, there is a second test required, the mirror fog test. If both pulse and breathing is detected, then you are hired.

I remember a time when the interview group would have like 20 guys and by the end only 6 were hired. Now they can’t even get 6 to show up.
