Signing bonus
Anyone know how the signing bonus is paid for new hires with atp Type ratings and 121experience . Dates and how much etc?
|
I believe it’s $17.5k. $10,000 bonus after your first year and $7500 if you have a type rating and 121 experience paid out after your IOE. Do yourself a favor and take XJT off you list. Even if you live near a base, it’s worth it elsewhere.

This industry is cyclical. Envoy was in the same boat XJT was a few years ago. Long upgrades, questionable future. Now look. Flow. Quick upgrade. XJT will be there again.

SKYW has made it’s intentions very clear. A lot of great people are being affect, and I hate that. I wish things were different, but facts are facts. INC will wind things down. They want to make an example of the union side. The situation is not similar to Envoy. Not at all. |

PS - There are talks of a Skywest LGA base. Take your blinders off people. |

United has made it abundantly clear, time and time again, that they will not enter into a true flow agreement with anyone. While Envoy was in a somewhat similar boat as XJT, so was Comair. It didn't end so we'll for them.
