Default American Flying ending

DFW AA flying to end by April 2019, becoming an all UAL feeder, says Terry Vias in Co announcement today. No shock losing DFW base, it was expected. Guess SKW took that flying also.

Now, XJT can be purchased by United once all of the AA flying is gone. Figured that was the plan since the Bloomberg article came out.

Exactly. They did the same crap at Comair supposedly. All peaches and roses until close to the end. C5 is growing, Skywest is growing (34 more 175s til the end of the year). Nothing like a good ole seniority / longevity flush.

With this massive attrition, I have no idea how they will make it through summer. Or even another 6 months without downsizing even more.

You're welcome. I left 4 months ago, and couldn't be happier with my decision.
