One of our Captains passing
Just heard the news about one of our Captains passing and flying west to soar the heavens. I guess it happened last month and never got a company email like we always do...

I definitely recognize this guy. Very sad for his family. Doing a search in the directory shows that he didn’t work here anymore. That’s probably why the company didn’t send out any message. Guy was really young to pass away. Sucks.

That said.. a recognizable name and not that much junior to me. I remember seeing his name on the seniority list in ORD so it's kind of shocking to read this, even as an ASA pilot.
The company should have written something. Sad indeed.

He is still in the ORD ERJ November bid packet. Yes I am upset that company never wrote an email or our Union.
He always cheered me up when I ran into him in the Terminal, brought my moral up and helped me many times, man of his word.
I will miss running into him.
