Ok, so they beat us by giving UA a better offer. What’s the difference? You can be naive and think those airplanes weren’t meant for XJT, but that was the original plan. Mesa made the deal better for UA by footing the bill for the airplanes in order to secure a long contract on the flying. If that deal hadn’t been made, those 20 airplanes would be headed to XJT. It is plainly obvious they did not start the XJT 175 program for just 25 tails, otherwise we’d be keeping those airplanes. YOU obviously have not been at XJT long enough, but in Contract 2018....the potential of voting down the contract could have and would have ultimately led to our wind down (TSA claimed inability to attract pilots and now look at them)
