I’m not going to dig back and find it. If you have time check it out, it’s fact.
Skywest 700’s became 550’s and are leasing them to GoJets
Skywest also is leasing airplanes to some airline in Canada and 40 engines to delta for endeavor. It’s all public info

Okay, so if there is not reason, why do you do it?

It’s never polite to answer a question with a question.

By owning nothing they have no obligations beyond payroll. No bad debts, unfavorable leases, and/or unwanted airplanes from deals made when everyone assumed pre-WuhChu demand was durable.

They can be a nimble and cost advantaged place for mainline to shove RJs that are orphaned by other partners who have to shed them in a collateral call. Just depends if other regional operators have the cash ability to buy up the orphaned planes as other airlines shed them or whether mainline has to take them back...I suspect we will see both play out this spring/summer.

I’m not admitting anything. I’m acknowledging your statement and asking you to actually answer the question asked.
