Skywest 700’s became 550’s and are leasing them to GoJets Skywest also is leasing airplanes to some airline in Canada and 40 engines to delta for endeavor. It’s all public info |

They can be a nimble and cost advantaged place for mainline to shove RJs that are orphaned by other partners who have to shed them in a collateral call. Just depends if other regional operators have the cash ability to buy up the orphaned planes as other airlines shed them or whether mainline has to take them back...I suspect we will see both play out this spring/summer. |
