surely a 60% load is not making money in an RJ of that size!?

When it says Express Jet branded flying that's pro-rated with delta does that mean they are taking Delta pax on the branded flying? Like a small alliance?

On a side note 61% isn't that bad. I don't know what fuel does for things but, admittedly from word of mouth, I've been told that's around break even point.

"surely" it all depends on what they charge for tickets, but I "surely" wish our load factor was hire, however if you look at other airlines load factors, you would "surely" be able to see that the loads "surely" were not much higher. I for one am "surely" proud that our L/F is that high, not an easy thing to do, I for one am "surely" happy

Nah, not really just thought his use of "surely" was very obnoxious, not sure why, maybe to "proper" sounding, and 60% load factor is right around break even, well unless oil keeps where it is, either way, pretty good L/F I guess I dunno, I can't obsess over it.

anyway what does it matter Age 65 essentially passed today, another blow to this industry.

South West load factor for the same time period was just above 68%. So not bad for only 9 months.

I'll take 60% for now. We haven't even completed our first year of service. People are expecting an overnight success.

The pro-rate flying is still Delta painted jets on Delta routes with DL flight numbers. The reason they lump it in with branded is XJT is taking the financial risk on those routes instead of Delta (in a nutshell).
