Expressjet to fly for United
No official word yet, but maybe 5-10 airplanes out of either ORD or IAD????
Don't think it is a long term deal, but I guess its better then under-utilized airplanes http://www.planebuzz.com/2008/02/det...g_contine.html |
Doubt it, UA would probably ask their feeders first, I know TSA would like that flying.
|
That's good news. If the UAL/CAL merger goes through it wouldn't hurt to have a good reputation with UAL already made.

TSA can't staff their current planes. Why replace one regional that's having staffing issues with another?

We knew we were parking 5 airplanes, but didn't know who was picking up the slack. |
So would that potentially make ORD a senior or junior base for Express Jet? I would like to work for Express Jet...but i live in Chicago.

Since TSA is getting 3 airplanes from Mesa to go to the UA side I think we're taking a little bit of that flying. As for why XJ is getting some before any of the other UAX carriers...thats beyond me... but then again I'm young...
