Yup, they (CAL) got exactly what they wanted.

Perhaps, but I don't think the final verdict is out yet on that. When we know for sure what is happening with CHQ, then we will know for sure if Jerry got played or not. For all we know that could be CALs way of rewarding SKW for their help.

Besides, even if they don't get any CAL flying, what did SKW lose in all this except some time spent by management putting the details together. The agreement also all but guarantees that XJT branded will go away, which may give a chance for SKW to increase their prorate bro flying in California.

How dare you POPA. Don't you know it is only a crime when someone under bids xjt but when they under bid someone else it's ok! That's the attitude of most of them anyways! ;)

And all WITHOUT the loss of pay or QOL....Isn't that amazing?!?!?

I was thinking the same thing :p
While I generally have high regard for the St George boys, I try not to let those thoughts out on this forum

Kool-Aid, sure but I think that Dash8Pilot's posting was more about looking outside the box instead of fixating on the obvious. Sometimes it's more about the windfall than it is the immediate action. Some call it proactive business with some foresight.

BTW, SKW is increasing our At-Risk flying out west. I wouldn't be surprised with a few Bro's end up back filling XJT. I know that it won't be apples for apples seeing it's a T-Prop with no XM but it will be service with a smile and a welcome aboard, glad to have you.

Please, one could easily say XJT got played. CAL could have went to SKY management and said, "Hey offer XJT such a miserable deal that when we come to them with a 7 year CPA for dirt cheap, it will loook like a great deal, and for being such a good sport when our guys cave on scope well give you the 70 seat feed" We can guess all we want but management at all airlines will do what they have to do, whether it be for themselves, their BOD's or the Shareholders. I don;t think Jerry lost any sleep over this, SkyWest is sitting pretty if you ask me.

Point is we never know who is getting played, but I can assure you, usually its the hard-working employees..............

I hope you don't plan on working here once you're furloughed. You do realize you're going to be furloughed right? The best thing you could be doing is changing your tone and doing the best you can to get a good rep for yourself and see if you can get your resume walked into other places. Isn't very wise to continually talk down to people you made need to rely on soon.

Agreed, lame. I don't wish a furlough on anybody. But for TD to say this pretty low.

Because, as we all know, the 20 something ERJ FO has a crystal ball and has EVERYTHING in the airline industry and wall street figured out .
