Yeah I have the same story.....good luck though. See if Honda or a car magazine is interested in your car photos.

Initially, as in last summer, it was Mesa's flying being scaled back.

However, aircraft have been pulled out of charter to go into UAX operations. Those operations are to replace the SkyWest aircraft that are moving south soon.

Hopefully no one will be losing flying. This is mostly for attrition. We had a bunch of people go to delta, jetblue, and atlas

Have you ever flown with someone that made you think to yourself "how did this d-bag ever get to where he is?" I guess integrity went out the window years ago.

Not that different to every tool who mentions in the first 5 mins of meeting them (or in an interview) how their father/uncle/brother/sister is a 25 yr Fedex, Delta Captain etc.

you cant blame him for trying. the system is retarded and it favors nepotism and who you know. You cant be mad at the guy that got hired at CAL with 1900 TT and 700 multi in 2006 because of who his father knew but you can be mad at the system that allowed it. I think this is one of the things we need to change going forward. Have the recommendations come into play after the individual gets called in for an interview. You should need to get through the door with your experience and then get the extra help.

The system is not retarded. The company wants to reward their employees by hiring who they know. The problem is there's always people that try to abuse the system like the previous poster here.
