Default ExpressJet/ASA CRJ Junior Bases & Reserve

Can anyone currently or previously employed for Expressjet on the ASA CRJ side provide insight to the bases as far as what is junior or could be held out of training as well as the projected reserve times?

Are you in one of the classes coming up. Historically IAD and DTW are junior but lately ATL seems anything is fair game reserve is pretty short right now except on 7/9

Thanks... I had been told DFW was junior at the interview... Is that true?

If given the choice between the ERJ or CRJ, which would you take and why? In which airframe would a new pilot spend the least amount of time on reserve?

Thanks.

This thread will be like nailing a raw egg to a fence post. Should be fun.

EDIT:
I can be more constructive than that...
On the ERJ side, newhires have gone to all bases pretty much at any time. EWR is historically the junior base and where you will spend the least time on reserve but there is a reason for that: commutability sucks. ORD and IAH are the largest bases so that is where you will generally see the most movement and have the most variety of lines. CLE is very small and relatively senior after a point because a number of very senior FOs live there and have desire to commute ever. So you might get it right out of training and move up quick for a while but the top of the CLE list aint going anywhere.

Point is, you guys are asking for us to nail down a moving target. What was true yesterday wont necessarily be true tomorrow. When I got hired at XJT in IAH, I sat reserve for 3 months and CLE was the junior base. When ORD first opened, it was super junior, now it gives IAH a run for most senior base. About the only thing that has almost always been true is that EWR is junior because its expensive to live there and the commute sucks. YMMV.

It seems lately, that all bases and equipment are possible for new hires. It just depends what they need at the time.

If you get the "opportunity" to bid:
ATL: if you don't live here, avoid it. You will spend a LONG time on reserve. Both 200 and 700/900. ATL 700/900 is super senior. I expect to see ATL shrink as DAL acquires 717s, especially in the -200 categories.
IAD/DFW: small bases, way senior at the top, way junior at the bottom. -200s only. Low-medium time on reserve. Not very commutable.
DTW: All -700/900s. Decent commutability from everywhere except ATL. Least time on reserve. Long legs, not many legs per day, flying to most of the large airports in the midwest and northeast. I expect DTW to see the most growth in the near term.

CRJ, because I live in a CRJ base, which translates into better Quality if Life.

If one considers living in Atlanta to be conducive to having a quality life.

11/5/12 hire here. ATL 200 base. I only spent 3 months on reserve. My guess is if you are going 200 it will be ATL with an outside chance at IAD. A buddy got TDY to DFW last month and flew exactly 0 hours so I don't think they are that hard up for reserves there.
