Post Expressjet Airplanes to TSA

The latest official word is 36 XRs will go to TSA, but from the TSA side they have options for 69 more XRs which would be the entire XR fleet! Is this part of the Expressjet plan given that there is no real management drive from the company to negotiate a unified contract?

That's been the rumour since the announcement was made. And that was months ago.

1st welcome back on your return to earth...2nd the company is parking (or giving away) high lease, high time (airframe cycles). If TSA is going to be getting the high time airframes, good luck with those....accordingly if they are getting the high lease then its their own company not paying them the way xjt pays us....If you look at it both ways its kind of like *** but the other end TSA wont be operating these 50 seaters for very long cause united wants them gone. Let alone if their MX can keep them running long enough. Point is don't be jumping ship to fly the same GD airplane.....theres a reason why XJT is still hiring pilots.....

I always enjoy jumping to Google to find out what comparison CCB has come up with.

TSA won't be able to fly the XRs like ExpressJet does...as I understand it they're basically getting LRs with winglets.
