Looks like we need a new ALPA accountant. Geniuses.

Only the best programmers in the industry.

I hear it's a Phase VII implementation, target is JUN bid month, 2020, deadline is DEC 2023, which will most likely be pushed back to MAY 2024 due to peak season freeze.

How did the sec tres not know that X amount of dues were not accounted for , for 6 months?

What percentage do we pay on our income? Is it still 2% or did they raise it (of course it will never be lowered). I have completely forgotten.

I'm wondering if you look at your year end 2016 statement, if you multiply your gross by whatever the percentage is, if that should be your dues deduction, or if there's something else that will amaze and confuse us.

I also wonder how they are planning on getting back the dues from the hundreds of people who retired at the end of the year.

I vote that they wait and take any under payments out of the 5% bonus payment they still owe us. We are fast approaching 2 years since the signing date, and we still are not whole on our bonus "retro" payment.

Nightflyer 04-20-2017 03:57 AM

I think that is a brilliant idea. We should all just tell our block reps that they can have our dues when we get our 5%!!!

I was told we "might" see the 5% late summer. What? Why so long, ALPA MEC? Get it done!!!

Next time "my negotiating committee speaks for me", they need to get INTEREST on our "signing bonus" for any length of time after the signing date. Why should it be split into two parts anyway? Why should we have to wait so long, when it was supposed to be instead of retro pay?

Guess I am going to go in bad standing.

Thanks, but if that is correct, ALPA owes me over $400. Yet it is most certain I'll get a bill and not a refund.
