Why haven’t you guys gone with an in-house union like our IPA? FedEx is an outlier within ALPA these days.

With my last 121 carrier, ALPA lied straight to our face during roadshows after negotiation (probably the first time they’ve ever done that). Hardly. Those suckers got played and voted their last CBA in with 90%+ voting yes. And it was the first TA. Those dummies were too stupid to vote down the first offer. They should know better than that. Everybody knows that you always vote down the first TA because all it is is a sell job by the union.

If IPA merged into ALPA, it would still be the same UPS pilots running their union, just like they do now. It’s your specific members and leadership that determines your success. Having resources only helps your level of success.
