I’d stay at United. Lots of diversity of flying in EWR. Day trips probably an option at some point. Two great places to work. But. I think your QOL at United would be better.

Cargo ops and pax are very different in itself and schedules can vary significantly. My friend just left this our outfit this summer after 4 years for United, granted our ACMI schedule was longer time away than FedEx and much more diverse. He is based in EWR and commutes but is enjoying it and looking forward to even better schedules maybe later next year as the pax carriers clean up their mess. Either way, with young ones or just enjoying shorter multiple hops during daylight hours is definitely something to consider. As said before, two great companies but quite different in many ways.

*He probably would have stayed and does miss the diverse day/night flying, but there was more cheddar at the above companies and he cannot enjoy the schedule I hold being quite a bit more senior. UA and FedEx both bring much greater power with seniority.

Yes EWR. I don’t care if I fly NB or WB. I don’t hate pax flying but it doesn’t do anything for me either. I like the stability at FedEx but also there’s a chance at a quick upgrade at UAL in EWR. But who knows

But you don’t work for United so what exactly are you talking about here?

Note.

For anybody who doesn’t know this guy is a fraud he’s not a pilot and most definitely not a United pilot.

Says the Memphis bubba doing all the extra flying you been talking about. Now go back to searching open time for that next draft assignment. Im sure the schedulers have you on quick dial with the lube ready. Or its so reamed out no lube is required anymore.

How’s retirement going?

It’s not nice to call people a fraud. Not sure how you even come to that conclusion Hoss. Try to take it easy man.
