I don't know. Just look at all the open time there is.

Giving us a pay boost.

That's hilarious.

Thankfully we locked in a below industry pay rate contract for SIX YEARS! That way we can save them money as the airlines' renegotiate another contract next year during these awesome times.

And we get to wait while everyone gets at least two more contacts up on us.

FDX ALPA you totally screwed Contract 2015 up. Miserable failure.

And you Family Guy ... yes you ... you big fatty ... you failed us tremendously.

Now let's give the company a way to kill the A-plan, giving the senior bubbas yet another way of screwing those left behind.

The latest "using computers is hard" message from IT.

Now we have what essentially equates to a resource available display on open time. YGBSM!!! Maybe use some of those corporate tax savings and UPGRADE THE RESOURCES instead of putting in a usage meter that tells us how bad they suck.

IT's spelling capability is about on par with their main job, it would seem.

"This request requires signifigant processing to accomplish."

Checking a list of open trips for a seat is draining our processing power? So are we going to see signs up around AOC with "Every tron counts"?

You said it perfectly. Nothing we can do now about the contract. It was a failure but we can't undo the damage. We made our bed and now have to lie in it.

However, seems like some never learn. The MEC has decided that the A Plan needs to be frozen and some are willing to just go along with it. Not too long ago, employees looked at companies that offered a pension as the mark of a world-class organization. How quickly we forget.

I just have to shake my head when I talk to buds at other airlines. They seem to be able to take care of pilot groups many times as large as ours.

In defense of our ways of doing things, I often hear "but our system form is much more complicated". I call BS. I will give you that it is different and can present challenges but I think the real problem is we are set in our ways and think we are smarter than everyone else.

How about voting ALPA off the property? I know, we've done it once before. But let's see: two failed contracts, two screwed-up FDA contracts (which had to modified by multiple side letters), and now unilaterally selling out our A plan (outside of section 6, moreover) is evidence of ALPA's incompetence or gross negligence in representing all but the most senior FedEx pilots.
