You know...WE cannot just ship guns when we want. It would sure make those hunting trips or skeet competitions easier...or situations like when I got a .243 handed down earlier this month when I lost my last living uncle... I put in on my Delta flight to my first stop and it rode home in a cirrus on the second leg.
You have to have an FFL to ship. You know, a FEDERAL FIREARM dealer permit..that requires checks, costs money, etc etc.

Per the ATF, an individual can legally ship a firearm to themselves without involving a FFL.
