"Squadron Level Flight"?
FedEx application, under military experience, asks "Did you ever participate in Squadron Level flight?" and "Did you ever fail a Flight Check-ride, Flight Evaluation or other portion of training or checking at this level?"
So, I hooked a ride or two in undergraduate pilot training, but have never received less than a Q1 on any military checkride. So should I select "no" for this?
Just wanted to double check since "Squadron Level Flight" is a bit ambiguous to me...

I'm sure this is pretty self evident, but if you were a T-6 IP and failed a checkride as a winged pilot, I'd put that down, even though you weren't in an "operational squadron, flying grey airplanes."

I'll bring back an old thread for this one. For the new website on the Questionnaire portion, do they want to know about Air Force UPT check ride busts? (not Form 8 busts) How about a Q2 during Air Force aircraft initial qual? Initial qual was passed, so under the "Military Training" section it's correct to say that AI was passed.
I assume they want both, but figured I'd ask.

Ive always been told/under the understanding that any Form 8 should always be put down. I'd say no harm in putting the UPT busts. We all have em and in the end they don't matter since they're prog checks really, not checkrides. IMO it shows you're being honest and upfront.

About 45 years ago my FedEx application ONLY asked
"...do you have $10K cash or the GI Bill allowance of $8888.88 for a Falcon type rating?" Good thing 'they' never asked for more. Best business decision I ever made. Go Navy-Beat Army. Thanks FWS
