Rota to CDG ?
Anyone got a good DEV on this segment? I see non stops from Seville to Orly, and some kind of bus service from Rota to Seville. Looking for a better solution than the companies (all day) plan.

IB has flights from XRY (Jerez) to CDG through MAD. Business class on the company website is $726. XRY is a 30 minute taxi from the base.

In a past life, I’ve taken a taxi to El Puerto de Santa Maria and then the Spanish high speed train to Seville. From memory, I want to say the taxi was <30 minutes and the train was about an hour?
Check out an app called Rome2rio. It’s a handy tool to find travel options between locations, especially overseas.

Sun Transfer www.suntransfers.com will provide a car and driver to take you from Rota to Seville for a little less than 200 euros from there you can take a Vueling flight direct to CDG from seville. They picked me up in a nice S class mercedes the ride was actually quite scenic as well.

Just an update for anyone considering this DEV. Did this today with Vueling out of Seville (SVQ). We had no issues, left the hotel in Rota at 0400 for a 0700 flight. That was the only non stop flight of early part of the day. The limo was booked by the FO and he found the ride using Google. Not sure of the exact fare but it was less than the quoted provider in an earlier post, I believe around 140 Euros. By the way, make sure you understand how your paying vis what you used to book. He booked using a CC but the driver wanted cash, YMMV, just be aware and ready.
The ride took about 1 1/2 hours during this very early ride. I don't know how long it could have been had the departure been later. Check in at the airport was reasonably quick once we got to the front of the line, the line was pretty long when we arrived. Security was fairly busy with mainly families on holiday traveling on early flights out of Seville. We were though check in and security in just under 30 mins.
Vueling is a discount airline, think Spanish Ryanair. Our ticket price must have included a check bag because we didn't pay at check in but we did buy food in the food court for the flight. All drinks on board you $$. You arrive terminal 3 in CDG which is an afterthought to the usual locations at CDG. The good news is it small, you don't do immigration on arrival and you can be in and out quick. If you use train or bus to get to your hotel you will be transfering to one of the other terminals. Uber to our destination was 50 or 80 euros depending on level of car ordered.
Hope this helps anyone wishing to avoid a two legger to or from Rota.
