I almost guarantee that the low turn out just like every MEC election throughout ALPA was due to no one really knowing who the candidates are. I mean we get an email from the candidates stating their case for why we should vote for them. And in my opinion this is not enough. I知 not asking for a debate. But make an effort to make a video or something to show your face. Talk to the block that you want to elect you. Then if we see them on the bus, oops, at a hotel, etc, we can introduce ourselvs and ask questions about where they stand on issues important to us. But if this has already happened then it was an oversight by me and disregard this early morning rant.

I cast my vote and voted for no one. I reread the candidates statements and failed to see a real difference. When the choice is between Mr. Vanilla, Mrs. French-Vanilla, and Mr. Vanilla Bean, and I like Strawberry, a selection of one of the above seemed moot.
