Would the company rather have 100 pilots flying 100 hours a month or 10 pilots flying 1,000 hours a month.

I know a certain Brown company who would most definitely have 10 pilots only, such pesty necessities 😳

Lots of airlines are running lean ops. Look no further than delta’s record amount of green slips. Also a ton of premium pay at United. Not sure on the others.

That’s why I think new hires and others are nervous. Makes sense at FedEx on some levels too if business will be slow and peak is complete by the time any new hires could complete training and be of any use.

From the nov sig notes: “The company anticipates continued hiring in 2020”

Rumors of next class in 6-9 months. This is starting to look like Delta’s hiring freeze and pool last year. Good luck. Timing is everything.

Jan 6? Didn’t know they had started assigning classes yet. I know a guy hired in September as well, he hasn’t heard any class date yet. In the pool currently.
