Yes, it is on a whole different pay and quality of life scale, as compared to my previous major job and I tried to explain that. I literally make double at FedEx compared to what I made at previous major. FedEx tends to not have the huge bust factor that the pax airlines do during tough economic times. Fell on deaf ears because the shine was to bright from that beautiful new car type hypnotism. The problem now is that with 150is in the pool to clear out it will be mid 2021 for them to get a class date. I honestly feel terrible for them and more than anything their families who are about to take some major pain. I think of how good they could have had it if just they listened and learned form history.

I’m sure you all are aware that even if every pilot wanted to work here, the company can’t hire them all. People go to their company of choice for different reasons. Crew base option is very important to a lot of guys. FedEX only have 4 domestic crew base compare to the pax carriers. We are not out of the wood work yet so humble yourselves gentlemen.
Smith already said in the last earnings call he would have stopped receiving 767s and 777s but Boeing was financially in the dumps because of 737Max/KC46. He didn’t want to further add to Boeing’s hurt. |

Exactly. After this glut of cargo Is shipped and our operation matches the idled economy, we will be lucky if we don’t enter 4A2b if not worse.

Rumors of calls going out yesterday for May 28/June 18 classes. Is this true?
