No longer hand selected

Thank you. I have a low SSN so I would expect bottom 10. Assuming I got a phone call and a successful interview…

How’s the SSN seniority work? Is it the last 4 numbers of it?

Correct. 9999 would be the most senior, 0000 would be the caboose

I'm curious if there is an average SSN or some such so you could have an idea of where you're going to land. I know there's a lot of variables. Is there any knowledge of this before day 1?

Ummm I’m guessing the median (or is it mean??) last 4 is 5000….

But to your question my class had a group text prior to start where we all shared our last 4 and what planes we wanted so we had a pretty good idea where we stood.

Anecdotal but I have a 36xx number and I ended up at 67% in my class which is what one would expect.

Well, if you are 88xx and everybody else in class is 89xx and higher, then you would be last..

That being said, if you are 36xx and everybody else is 35xx and below, then you are number 1..

To the best of my knowledge, they don't set class dates for new hires based on a full spectrum of soc numbers...;)
