The problem we have in Europe and other countries is that nobody knows who FedEx is. If you talk to the local rampers/agents etc.etc. they'll tell you that FedEx isn't advertising. If you are in these countries and want to ship via FedEx, where do you drop off your package? I don't see any FedEx Offices over there. But I could be wrong but I don't think I am.

Guess the $4.8 billion dollar purchase of TNT didn’t quite work out as planned....

Sounds like a good idea for us. Many of the packages we receive over here end up at a Hermes kiosk for pickup. They are all over the place and could be a way to get us better visibility.

I wish Purple would get back to memorable advertising in the US, too.

That will be determined in 5-10 years once integration is completely done. Much like UPS relying more and more on Amazon for business, its hard to know if that was a good decision until years down the road. History always has the answer not futuristic speculation.

Default Amazon is interested as well...

“Handelsblatt asserted that Amazon, too, was interested in Hermes, which faces a deficit in Germany, but is “on the right track,” Otto’s CFO told the newspaper.”

We are slowly weaning off them, company plan is to be mostly detached a in a few years or less, in essence ripping the band aid off slowly.
