Commuting WB FO…or in domicile WB CA?

Heck yeah it needs to go. But it isn't on ALPA's list this time around so we are going to have to live with it. I'd like to know, if we are commuting in on our own metal, why can't we be protected?
That says A LOT about FedEx's reliability. Which everyone knows right now completely sucks.

"Focused approach"? I would support a massive overhaul to get rid the garbage and loose interpretations. So many unadderssed brown nuggets will remain in the next CBA for us to live with. Enjoy the corn!

If the duration of the next contract is 2 years, then I’m okay with a focused approach. In fact, I think that would be the best strategy right now. Make some gains, lock them in, and the do it again with a new focused approach. Rinse and repeat while the going is good. We’ll see in time if this is indeed the approach.

My question is how often are pilots missing their trips or having their trips dropped without being put in make up because they were commuting and didn’t meet the protection provisions of the contract? If this is really a problem, then instead of waiting until the next contract negotiations, which in s reality will be 6 or more years away, why mot attend a LEC meeting and bring it up for a vote for your LEC to try to get the MEC to include it this time?
