Karma

Just finished a trip a few days ago with a guy that bragged about dropping all his trips and doing draft all month. His big trips started next week and the following week. I just checked his calendar and he had to go out Covid NOQ. Guess what trips are not pay protected under the CBA or Medical agreement? AVA and Draft. Haha, he gets less than guarantee now. Karma has a way of getting back at these types. If only he had flown his line he would be fully pay protected.

Beside the whole dropping and flying draft issue, this is another horrible work rule. Pilots should be pay protected at least to straight pay.

Its tough to defend that when it would only incentivize people to do it more during negotiations every time we are in negotiations. So do we want to incentivize more people to do it?

Hi, I'm non-FW scum who reads through the forums learning about airlines. Was this a technique that's used to minimize the days you're required to work (giving up the minimum hour pay) in favor of jumping on flights on his days off so he'll get overtime pay? I know you guys don't call it overtime, sorry.
