Default LCA/Sim Inst. vs. ACMI to get to FDX

Hello,

I have a unique opportunity to become a LCA or Sim instructor at my current regional but I also received an invite for interview at an ACMI. If my ultimate goal is FedEx which would get me in faster? Stats: TT4000 TPIC 1000 and army guard (non flying)

In my opinion I'd take the upgrade to an LCA to keep bumping up your PIC. I'd get about 500 hours doing that and then if you don't get a call after going to a job fair I'd go somewhere ACMI to get a Boeing Type.

Get the LCA letter and try and get an endorsement here. Going to the right seat at Atlas is going to do you nothing.

LCA is a good route no doubt. Atlas may or may not do anything for him specifically as no one know the outcome exactly, but Atlas and many other international heavy flyers have provided a lot of warm bodies during the slow and fast times of hiring. Nothing is guaranteed.
