My question was simple, do we want leaders who are calling for our 100% while they are not giving us their 100%? It is that simple. That said, what evidence do you have that our leadership isn’t 💯 % committed to their jobs. Just as you probably did, what makes you think these folks are any less committed? Seems to me, they stepped up and are giving it their all. Just as I suspect you did. Difference is they probably were not on APC casting aspersions toward you or claiming you were being a hypocrite while you did your job. Your constant rhetoric simply gets old and you are actually causing more harm to our Unity with your baseless claims. I’m sure you believe you have all the answers and everyone else around you is not up to the task. Narcissism is real and you may want to read up a little - maybe take a look in the mirror. |

(Company lawyer, feet on desk, calls young law clerk into office)
Company Lawyer: "So, Chad, what's the infighting quotient on APC these days?" Chad the Law Clerk: "Great, sir! You should see how they run down ALPA! Almost as good as last time on Jetflyers!" Company Lawyer: "Good work, Chad. Now get the f%ck out." (Proceeds to light cigar with $100 bill.....) |

OK Boomer
Tell us how "Leadership - you want hypocrisy or no?" is helping the cause? And "elected" in quotes. Love that. Hey let's question the election system at the same time. That'll rally the troops. To rip off W.F. Buckley for like the 100th time here - What the company fears is a united pilot group that speaks with one voice. Which means they have little to fear.... |

And “elected” is quoted because the vast majority do not vote, and the union knows this and capitalizes from this by running yes men. And then the “elected” appoint those they want into critical roles. Ergo, you wanting us to unite around our present leadership would be like shackling ourselves to the Titanic because it’s the honorable thing to do. no thanks. i choose life. make your $. invest it wisely and don’t count on ALPA for nothing. |

I tried to add term limits to the committee structure for leadership positions, but that never made it to a discussion level.
So ask your reps about FPL and who claims the most, then go do the math. 100%? You be the judge. |

The elected system has term limits. Numerous representatives just took new term seats last month if my memory serves me rite. New blood all the time. This allows for a constant new set of eyes. We get to elect these individuals. We had a change in Officers also a few months ago. They are doing a job 99.5% of pilots don’t want to do. You should try calling them and thanking them for doing what you wont do. Instead you throw stones. Disgusting to say the least. Why don’t you run for one of the positions if you are better suited? Then we can throw stones towards you. Try something new. Show some gratitude and Unity.
