That is verbatim from the SCP. That was May 31 and the last bit of info that was sent to the pilot group. No idea what the status is as of now, but I can only assume that to be considered for an interview as of right now, a 4-year degree is still a requirement.

Pretty arrogant comment, Magic. One of the best pilots I ever flew with had a High School GED. He was good enough for Tigers and I imagine that you flew with him at least once. I guess "a PHD from Memphis State" is what we're hoping to get.

Yep, they all shoulda sat sideways too. Unbelievable that they would let folks through without a degree, and I hope the never let anyone through without the PIC time. The whole place would fall apart if that happened. We fly wide bodies for gods sake. /s

I agree and sincerely hope we don't drop the PIC requirement. Like you said we fly widebodies for gods sake. No sarcasm tag.

Even in this market, FedEx is getting the most experienced pilots. Why would you want to lower the standard?
