UPS beats estimates

The contractor model is failing. UPS drivers make more and don’t have to maintain the cost of the vehicles. UPS drivers have pensions and benefits. UPS is much more profitable by using ground for air and making service. Trucks are much cheaper than aircraft. Over the past 2 years I’ve had multiple service failures with FDX Express and Ground. Not one with UPS or USPS. Amazon, that’s a different story. AMZ is a contractor model though.

not trolling and not a UPS Pilot and I don't work for UPS.. Both companies were around when online shopping began... There is no more Speigles except in a new form or Sears.... Last time I checked, Amazon, Chewy and Best Buy all began after FDX, Walmart and Target major expansions nationwide took place after FDX was already operational. Both companies didn't have an online page then. Nice try though.

It's a bit unclear since you posted the link with no comment, but it looks like you may have been trying to support your claim that UPS walked away from the deal.
The first line of the second paragraph of the UPS Press release you posted:
"As anticipated, the European Commission (EC) has issued a formal decision prohibiting the proposed acquisition of TNT Express."
It goes on to explain that the Offer for TNT Express had an Offer Condition relating to EU Competition Clearance, and that condition was not met.
So, characterizing it as UPS walking away from the deal is sort of like saying you quit after you've been fired. Either way you're no longer employed, but it wasn't your wise choice.

How is chasing revenue at any cost going for you? How is that long term debt to chase that revenue going for you?

Yeah, they remind me of those little boys who would pull the hair of the girl they liked just to get her attention. They must be really unhappy at brown. Not to mention how sad it is that they spend so much time on the boards of other airlines. I guess they never got that girl. LOL!
