We, as a group have to proactively share information because our management and our union do not. I greatly appreciate the pilot on the inside that chose to share that information. They clearly understand that their clan is the pilot group, not management.

The same message that was sent and shared to the entire pilot group? If you're in the "clan" you got it...and hopefully you're not getting all your info on APC/The Fox News of the internet.

12-20 months is a pipedream with the 76 and triple already maxed out at training capacity and being already 2 years into 21-01 and only half of it being trained out so far.

the first year of 21-01 had a ton of new hires eating up those training slots. That won't be an issue for the next 20 months.

The “pilot on the inside” that shared that email was the SVP of Flight Ops. He “leaked” it to everyone’s email. If you’re a FedEx pilot (doubtful), you would have gotten it.

Sure, I'm not a FDX pilot. I just don't look at my iPad on days off. Regardless, I don't have an issue with someone posting a company email on here to be discussed. I'd imagine I'm well senior to you. PM me and I'd be happy to TRADE employee numbers.

Hmmmmm. Seems like the company is about to do A LOT of training, in the school house and then followed by IOE. What are your sources telling you about how the TA'd sections of our new contract will change how pilots getting "bumped for training" will be compensated. You are adamant it won't SUB.

Will FOs be restricted from bidding LCA's during the normal bid process or during the VTO/Secondary Line process? It seems like a HUGE $$ savings for the company given the amount of training on the horizon, and a HUGE QOL decrease if all those trips are blocked off in any manner. Thanks for sharing what your trusted sources have told you.

I'd still like to know if our NC has agreed on any changes to how pilots "bumped for training" will be compensated....or if there will be any new FO bidding restrictions with regards to LCAs. ????

Once again, thanks for sharing what your trusted sources have told you.

I asked this direct question of my block rep at the last NC hub turn meeting and the answer was: No changes. Also followed up a month later when our reps were at the hub answering questions and got the same answer. YMMV. Perhaps you can ask at the Joint Council meeting on Tuesday?
