It was vote yes and get 3% or vote no and get nothing. It was a stupid vote but you had not choice. I know for sure I voted no in 2011 and 2015. I also voted no on the first contract, which was defeated.
I don't see "my own delusion" because I voted no several times, but not always. The MEC and the NC committee are responsible for what was in the TA's. I only got to say yes or no, and I voted no plenty of times. Even if retirement is fixed, but the pay rates are insulting, I will not hesitate to vote no again! Why don't you want to see the retirement fixed, if not to spite the old guys? Why does this have to be young vs. old? |

This. 12 year rates need to be compared to 12 year rates.

They’ve just gotta make sure they can rip the A plan parachute and grab there bag of bonus money on the way out the door when the rest of the new book is full of concessions and a lack luster rates. So frustrating. I’m getting so tired of hearing about fixing the pension they elected to not address during multiple bargaining cycles over the past 20+ years.

that pushes us to a 28% increase DOS. I fly with plenty of senior folks who still think 12-16% is acceptable “as long as retirement is fixed” whatever that means.

Yes - 12 year rates need to be equal or greater and then 14-15 need to be higher.
I have not voted yes to anything since the crap FDA LOA that was presented and sold as the best we can get by ALPA soon to be followed by FedEx offering more because no one would bid it. The age related language that gives any bonus, to any group, a la the $25k gift card is another automatic no form me. That has to stop. This senior pilot does not think 12-16% is acceptable under any circumstance. FUPM |

We are here because our union leadership failed us. How is that my fault?.
Also, I kinda agree with the junior pilots and see their point of view, the seniors have had 2 contracts to fix retirement. And failed! NO CONCESSIONS! Time to pay up FedEx. Industry leading contract and pay scales NOW!!! |

WRONG! I hate ALPO just as much as the next guy, BUT, you’re wrong…we are here because WE failed the union/NC by not behaving properly during negations, we gave the NC no muscle in negotiations. Period. Stop blaming ALPO and tell the pilot group to look in the mirror, we get the contract we deserve.

No one had a gun to your head to vote yes…at least admit to your self that you messed up by voting yes, take some responsibility bro…don’t say you had no choice…. |

Look at UPS, they got told it would be stupid to vote no in 2022 and it just bit them in the ass, HARD. I don't see "my own delusion" because I voted no several times, but not always. As I have stated several times. No concessions, and if there are concessions, I will vote no. I will also vote no if we don't get pay rates at least equal to or better than Delta. How many times do I have to say this? |

Quit messing up the Association's name.
Members have died in this business, doing the very jobs we do now. Denigrating the union that connects us all together is an insult to them, and us. |
