It was vote yes and get 3% or vote no and get nothing. It was a stupid vote but you had not choice. I know for sure I voted no in 2011 and 2015. I also voted no on the first contract, which was defeated.

I don't see "my own delusion" because I voted no several times, but not always.

The MEC and the NC committee are responsible for what was in the TA's. I only got to say yes or no, and I voted no plenty of times.

Even if retirement is fixed, but the pay rates are insulting, I will not hesitate to vote no again!

Why don't you want to see the retirement fixed, if not to spite the old guys?

Why does this have to be young vs. old?

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t until your resentment manifested it into existence on the internet.

This. 12 year rates need to be compared to 12 year rates.

Yes - 12 year rates need to be equal or greater and then 14-15 need to be higher.

So frustrating. I’m getting so tired of hearing about fixing the pension they elected to not address during multiple bargaining cycles over the past 20+ years.

I have not voted yes to anything since the crap FDA LOA that was presented and sold as the best we can get by ALPA soon to be followed by FedEx offering more because no one would bid it. The age related language that gives any bonus, to any group, a la the $25k gift card is another automatic no form me. That has to stop.

This senior pilot does not think 12-16% is acceptable under any circumstance. FUPM

28% is not acceptable at DOS either... could have been last May but inflation keeps on chugging along.

WRONG! I hate ALPO just as much as the next guy, BUT, you’re wrong…we are here because WE failed the union/NC by not behaving properly during negations, we gave the NC no muscle in negotiations. Period. Stop blaming ALPO and tell the pilot group to look in the mirror, we get the contract we deserve.

Also, I kinda agree with the junior pilots and see their point of view, the seniors have had 2 contracts to fix retirement. And failed!

NO CONCESSIONS! Time to pay up FedEx. Industry leading contract and pay scales NOW!!!

Three contracts. Three. This is the fourth opportunity.

That being said, we're on board to fix it. Just don't screw us on the way out...

Gawd…I’m sorry nightflyer to keep pinging you. But you’re WRONG AGAIN! Vote NO in 2012 and it goes back to the NC to renegotiate so they improve it to get a yes vote!

No one had a gun to your head to vote yes…at least admit to your self that you messed up by voting yes, take some responsibility bro…don’t say you had no choice….

It would not have been stupid to vote no in 2012. It's almost never stupid to vote no, even if it's actually a good deal. It would have gone back to NC and a better deal would have been negotiated.

Look at UPS, they got told it would be stupid to vote no in 2022 and it just bit them in the ass, HARD.

You're all over the place. First you were a yes voter in 2006 and 2011/12. Now you voted no several times... which one was it?

Even if retirement is fixed, but the pay rates are insulting, I will not hesitate to vote no again!
And what if they give away some of our good-deal work rules, will you join us in solidarity and vote no?

Why don't you want to see the retirement fixed, if not to spite the old guys?
I've said it several times, I do want it to be fixed, and I do want it to be retro. I'm just not willing to accept awful deals like 2006/2011/2015 to fix it.

Why does this have to be young vs. old?
Because you have a chip on your shoulder when it comes to new guys and you started going at their throats.

And you got paid well for it, with good benefits, many of which you probably still enjoy to this day. Also you protected American foreign interests, not freedom. We haven't fought a war to protect our freedom in any of our lifetimes. We don't even defend our borders FFS.

As I have stated several times. No concessions, and if there are concessions, I will vote no.
Thank you, I'm glad we have that common ground.

I will also vote no if we don't get pay rates at least equal to or better than Delta.
Equal is not enough. DL + a nickel is not enough. See AG's post over on JF for reasons why.

How many times do I have to say this?
It's really a matter of you just need to stop with the "I paid my dues" and the "the junior guys are trying to screw me" nonsense and everyone will leave you alone

Quit messing up the Association's name.

Members have died in this business, doing the very jobs we do now.

Denigrating the union that connects us all together is an insult to them, and us.
