I did post about how the Express division, labeled FedEx Express on the 10-Qs, the division we fly for, with numbers taken from the equivalent 10-Qs shows that Express is struggling on the domestic side. This is why I believe we are down gauging from the MDs to the 767s.

I'm not arguing your premise, in fact, I'm not arguing. I'm concerned that too many people are tempering their contract expectations based on specific statistics (like yours) that show weakness in our express air freight volume/revenue. This isn't the first time it has happened and it won't be the last. I am pointing out that we work at a much larger enterprise and this needs to be front of mind as we negotiate.
Concerning ourselves with micro trends in a segment of the business is
a) counterproductive during negotiations and
b) not our problem to fix
