Just a heads up from a DAL guy. If the TA fails, you can expect the yes voters to be an extremely bitter bunch. Some for personal reasons, some for greed reasons, some for political reasons.
We still have some here who say that TA1 was a better deal.
I’d expect the same. It’s just natural.

It says that he made a decision with the information he had at the time. He came here seeking exactly what this contract fails to secure, stability. He came here for industry leading pay, which this contract fails to secure. For over a decade we have had industry worst work rules in many areas and the longest and most punitive seat locks in the industry, stifling career advancement opportunities. This TA sets Purple further back than at any time in history from our peers at the pax carriers.
I had no idea our union was so feckless, and that a large part of our pilot group was so ambivalent towards maintaining our status as well compensated and well treated relative to the rest of this industry.

You mean he came here because he heard FO's were making well over $350k per year. Our pay rates were behind and the company was able to wet lease just like they can with the TA. He came here with what you call industry worst work rules. Now, 2.5 years later, he is still here. Why?

I have some questions. Approximately how long do we expect it to take to Ratify TA 2.0? What will those new pay rates need to be in order to recoup the loss in earnings during that period? And approximately how long into the future is the break even point? Please speak loudly, and check for any math errors. Im asking for Anthrax’s mom. She’s super hot, but hard of hearing. And absolutely terrible at math.
Their 94% NO vote closed on Nov 2, 2022
They released an AIP today and plan to have full language TA in next 3 weeks
