I am not a big fan of many of the results of past contracts. However, we have gone from 0 to 4 to 7 to 9% since 1999. That is not a great improvement to our retirement, but it is an improvement. Just not an improvement to our A plan. Please do not say our pension has not been improved. That is not correct. We have not improved our A plan since 1999. But all your B plan money has been an improvement. The B fund added a "leg" to our retirement stool and it's been a great addition to our long term ability to retire. With historic S&P returns your B fund pot should be 7 figures when you retire.
