Maybe the juveniles at the "New" MEC can make a cute tweet or Facebook post highlighting the fact that some of our pilots actually think this event was both intentional and inspiring ! We are lucky that we have this job because most of the pilots (at least those on the MEC and posting here) would probably be unemployed if they had to do a real job.

I can't see it now, a nice little screenshot (blurred appropriately) with the screen above the execs head saying "see FDX this is what your pilots think of your actions". mic drop by the new MEC comm team. Maybe they can engage bevis and butthead since they are back on the scene with the latest SNL skit. This ain't SWAPA and btw those that think mean tweets got them their CBA need a review of their medical qualification, it was not the mean tweets it was the pilot attrition that got them theirs. It worked too, they stopped hiring altogether since no one is leaving, not that they can bnow anyway.

 

Pilot attrition was the main ingredient that finally produced a new contract at my prior two airlines as well.

 

I've been generally impressed by all the people I work with. I don't know the new MEC members but I assume the same with them. Why are you so pessimistic on their abilities? They seem organized and have selected a good MEC and NC in my opinion. The last MEC and NC couldn't produce a ratifiable TA. It was time to move on.
