They are utterly convinced that this place is a "dumpster fire" and they are very unhappy because they've been told they should be unhappy.....or they are really unhappy because they bought their "Captain's House" as a 2 yr WB FO based on anecdotal stories of COVID paychecks and their rising expectations were not met.
I don't share the negative long-view of the company, but lately I've been telling these FO's "they should go"....for a couple of reasons...And not because I'm trying to be vindictive with a "Love it or leave it!" mentality.

Your post was overall well-written and thoughtful. While I respect your position and wish I could share it - I can't. I've been in the industry for approaching three decades and have four airline uniforms in the closet. I believe the Raj/Dietrich/D.E. Shaw era is the FDX version of the Lorenzo/Icahn era in the pax industry. It's transformative to the bad side and will leave nothing but burned-out husks in its wake.
Not even anywhere close to Lorenzo/Ichan shenanigans and company looting. When Raj sells off our sort facilities and GSE equipment and loaders then maybe I would agree with you.

A national seniority list would solve that portability problem. Imagine if we had free agency, like baseball? Every other union member, except those related to aviation, can take their experience and years of service when they change employers. Why shouldn't pilots be able to do that? It would give us much more power, especially in a time of a pilot shortage. If we were able to change employers, all employers would have to offer competitive compensation packages. It would have to be grandfathered in, over a period of time, but it would be better for all pilots in the long run. We don't have leaders, either at ALPA, or the company, that think in long term periods of time, to our detriment.

I don't need you to agree. Divesting is happening - the pace is slower without the aid of bankruptcy courts. It may not be as severe or as fast but it's the same concept.

it’s certainly happening with UPS. Earnings today shed some light on their becoming “more efficient” and focus on expanding margins.
