One of my buddies was offered employment last night. Doing some paperwork today. No word on class date yet.

Any news on the drop in the October class of 4 (if it has even started yet)?

Where do you find the list? The only one that I have found hasn't been updated since 2011.

VIPS>standing bids>master seniority. Leave fields blank for entire list.

Any word on what types of quals are cracking the FedEx code these days? Got a ton of buddies in that 3K-4k heavy mil IP type, sponsor, internal recs not getting any bites

I am sure they have a ton of apps and many highly qualified Pilots from all different backgrounds knocking on the door, just curious what is competitive these days?

I have been told it is whatever is put in to the magical computer at any given time. Buds I know that have made it through range from 4000 to 8000 IP/EP/Check Airman types. Also, to expect nothing until next year after peak.

Anywho - any newhires have word on how many remain in the pool?

propilot 11-14-2012 10:38 AM

Per the CP this morning. There are roughly 60 people in the hiring process, but no specifics on how many in the pool(we asked). Interviews should start again at the end of Dec/ early January. Class of 8 in January, and every month after for the forseeable future. Everyone will likely go to the 75. No plans to stop hiring...
